BVA Careers Fair, at the London Vet Show 2012
15 & 16 November 2012, Olympia
At the 2012 London Vet Show we will be running a two day event aimed at providing members with advice and support around their careers and career development.
The programme
The programme will focus on three main themes
Starting your career — from succeeding at interviews, surviving your first job, tips to a good consultation, communication and PDP and CPD.
Career options — showcasing the different career options available to vets, from practice to working outside the profession in traditional business roles.
Taking the next step in your career — including good management, buying a practice, employing staff and marketing.
Drop in sessions
The fair will also feature one-to-one drop-in sessions, including
- Career advice
- Financial advice
- Legal advice, including advice on contracts of employment
Rates
BVA members can book LVS 2012 for £107.10 + Vat (10% off the standard rate of £119)
Current final year and 4th year members (5th and 6th years for Cambridge) can apply for a BVA Scholarship to access the LVS and the Careers Fair for just £53.55 + Vat (50% off the BVA member rate).
