Information about the British Veterinary Association (BVA) President, Mrs Nicky Paull
Nicky Paull qualified from Liverpool in 1979 joining a three vet mixed practice in Lostwithiel, Cornwall with a work load of about 80% farm work.
She purchased the practice in 1988 and it has now grown to a partnership of three employing 8 veterinary associates and 25 support staff.
Nicky has been President of the Cornwall Veterinary Association as well as Treasurer and President of the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS). She represented SPVS on BVA Council for 4 years.
She was a member of the Members' Services Group for 3 years and joined the BVA Veterinary Policy Group in 2005.
Nicky became BVA President at our annual Congress in September 2008.
