BVA divisions

We have a number of specialist and territorial divisions that provide complementary benefits and information to the BVA membership package.

Specialist divisions

We have 21 specialist divisions representing the whole spectrum of species and specialities within veterinary science. Most run an annual Congress and are providers of CPD. Specialist divisions are represented on BVA Council and help formulate BVA policy.

Territorial divisions

The BVA has 30 territorial divisions, which are recognised on the grounds of geographical location. We encourage all members to join their territorial division, which provides a local social and support network, and CPD.

A number of territorial divisions facilitate our Graduate Support Scheme.
