Veterinary Policy Group

VPG advises the BVA Council on any veterinary subject of national interest relevant to animal health, animal welfare, or public health.

We elect new members annually and they usually serve a three year term.
VPG subgroups
To ensure we tackle relevant issues affecting both small and large animal veterinary practitioners we have formed 2 subgroups; the Production Animal Subgroup and the Companion Animal Subgroup. The BVA’s Medicines Group also reports to VPG.
