What has the BVA done in terms of advice on veterinary medicines?

The BVA has

Veterinary Medicines Regulations

The Veterinary Medicines Regulations (VMRs) provide a single, comprehensive set of controls on all aspects of veterinary medicines including authorisation, manufacture, supply, and use. The VMRs implement the European Commission’s Community Code relating to veterinary medicinal products.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) revoke and remake these regulations each year to provide an opportunity to review and amend any of the provisions in light of any changes to the cost or the use of medicines. During this annual process VMD engage in formal consultation with stakeholders. BVA’s concerns are represented by the BVA Medicines Group.
