When lobbying, the profession speaks with one voice through the BVA.
As a UK-wide organisation the BVA seeks to promote a positive image of the UK veterinary profession and influence policy and legislation in Westminster, the devolved administrations, Brussels, and at local government level. Besides individual contact with politicians, including our Honorary Associate Members, we host briefings, dinners, and receptions, to bring together veterinary experts and parliamentarians.
