The BVA Congress 2008 was held between 25 and 28 September at the Royal College of Physicians in London, UK.

During BVA Congress every year BVA Officers change. In 2008 BVA President Mr Nick Blayney became immediate Past President and was replaced by Mrs Nicky Paull as BVA President.  Professor Bill Reilly was elected BVA President-Elect.

BVA also presents a number of prestigious awards and travel grants during BVA Congress.
