The Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth UK has a grant available to enable veterinary undergraduates to visit a project site overseas.
The grants will cover medical, travel and subsistence expenses.
Applications for the grants for 2012 will be considered in March 2012. The visits are scheduled to be made during summer 2012.

To apply for this grant you must be attending a veterinary school in the United Kingdom, be in your clinical years and be a student member of the BVA.
In most cases you will be expected to conduct a literature review at your University related to the project you are undertaking before your visit, and attend The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon for up to one week prior to the visit overseas (expenses will be met).
You will spend between 4 to 6 weeks with the overseas project, working closely with one of our local project vets. On your return you will be expected to write up a report based on the terms of reference you are given for the project.

You should also indicate, in order of preference, which project countries you would like to visit and any particular area of interest.
