RCVS Trust
EMS Vacation Research Scholarships to enable veterinary undergraduates to undertake a research project during a vacation.
Travel Scholarships to enable veterinary surgeons to attend international veterinary conferences or pursue themes of clinical or non-clinical research involving short-term visits to veterinary or medical centres or research institutes abroad.
British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) Trust Queen Mother Student Travel Awards
Open to any vet student who is a member of BEVA. They are awarded to enable student members of BEVA to travel in order to expand their studies relating to the science and welfare of the horse.

British Veterinary Zoological Society (BVZS) Zebra Foundation
The Zebra Foundation awards grants to vet students seeing practice at an institution specialising in zoological medicine or undertaking research projects.

Intervet Connect Bursary
The annual bursary provides financial assistance to undergraduates from each of the UK’s veterinary schools, enabling them to undertake research in new and exciting areas of veterinary work.
Projects can be overseas or UK based. Generally the closing date is around April/May time although this varies between veterinary schools. Each vet school has an Intervet Connect Bursary Award staff co-ordinator. Please contact support.uk@intervet.com for further information.
The Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship
The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust offers Fellowships to men and women from all walks of life and from every corner of the UK to acquire knowledge and experience abroad. In the process, they gain a better understanding of the lives and cultures of people overseas and, on their return, their expertise is enhanced greatly as is their effectiveness at work, and their contribution to the community. Applications are often invited from a wide spectrum of interests in science and technology.

UFAW invites students at British universities and academic institutions to apply for its vacation scholarships. (Students undertaking overseas research projects are eligible as long as they are being supervised by and registered with a UK university).
