Representation of recent graduate concerns is a key part of the Young Vet Network (YVN), and Council is a good forum for allowing recent graduates to contribute to the debates.
The role of the graduate representatives on Council
Graduate representatives are the primary point of contact between BVA and graduate members. Duties include
- leading on the YVN community forum
- ensuring the consensus of recent graduate members is represented at Council
- attending a minimum of three of the four Council meetings each year
- ensuring Council outcomes are made available on the YVN community forum

Graduate representation
The composition of BVA Council allows for two recent graduate representatives
- Chris Booth - elected in October 2009
- Vacant - since September 2011

The best way to get in touch with your graduate representatives is via the BVA community forum. Look for the Young Vet Network forum which you will automatically have access to if you are up to 8 years qualified.
