Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager

(4 days per week / 0.8 FTE)

We are the British Veterinary Association. We’re the largest representative body for UK vets with over 18,000 members. We are widely recognised and respected as the voice of the veterinary profession. We champion and support vets and the issues that matter most to them – including animal health and welfare.

We are looking for an outstanding Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager on a 4 day per week basis, working within BVA’s Membership and Commercial Team to manage our new commercial partnership programme and introduce new opportunities for philanthropic giving.

This is an exciting and high-profile role at the BVA, responsible for developing a new income stream and modernising our approach to engagement with industry. The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager will report into the Membership and Commercial Director and work closely with the BVA Officer team to maximise opportunities and ensure that these remain aligned with the needs of the profession and BVA’s values.

As well as managing the process of identifying, cultivating, delivering and stewarding mutually beneficial commercial partnerships, the role holder will also take the lead on developing philanthropic fundraising.

Relationships and perseverance are key to success in partnerships and fundraising, as well as an ability to broadly understand the market and the big issues within the profession. We are looking for a bright candidate with fantastic people and organisation skills who has a demonstrable track record in generating new income through mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.

The starting salary for this role is £40,713 pro rata for 4 days per week (£32,571) plus a generous benefits package.
