BVA ensures the veterinary voice is heard in the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive. We provide briefings and information to parliamentarians and officials, and we work closely with our Honorary Associate Member MLAs from all political parties.

Focus on Northern Ireland vets’ unique role at BVA annual dinner

BVA and BVA Northern Ireland Branch welcomed MLAs to the annual dinner hosted by Patsy McGlone MLA, Deputy Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly and a BVA Honorary Associate, at Stormont on 24 November. Representatives from DAERA, key stakeholders, the media and senior members of the veterinary profession were among the guests.
