What's on offer

BVA theatres

  • BVA Career Development stream – personal and professional development advice
  • BVA/BEVA Equine Theatre - programmed by BVA in partnership with BEVA
  • BVA Farm Animal theatre – aimed at the mixed practitioner who regularly sees farm animal cases

BVA Congress

London Vet Show is the proud host of BVA Congress, the major event in the veterinary political calendar. This year’s topics include understanding client motivations in large and small practice; how Big Data will change the shape of veterinary surveillance and practice; and an interactive session on personal and professional ethics.

Breakfast on Brexit

Whatever an individual vet’s personal position on leaving or remaining in the EU, Brexit poses big questions for the profession, presenting challenges and opportunities for the future. Delegates are invited to join BVA and RCVS for a Vet Futures session to consider these issues at 8.30am on Friday in the BVA Congress theatre.

'Breakfast on Brexit' provides an opportunity to hear from Alick Simmons, chair of the BVA Brexit working group and former deputy CVO, and Chris Tufnell, RCVS President, on the work of the BVA working group and the RCVS Presidential Taskforce on Brexit. But more importantly, it's an opportunity for delegates to raise issues and questions to feed into BVA and RCVS work. Coffee and breakfast pastries will be provided.
