Your Voice in owner education

We've used survey statistics to promote a number of animal health messages we know are important to members. We do this by sharing statistics directly through our social media channels and by producing engaging infographics.

Statistics and quotes from members used to create a tweet a day for the #WeWishYouKnew Twitter campaign as part of national pet month 2017

Infographics on the introduction of the new microchipping legislation that could be shared via social media or displayed in surgery waiting rooms.

Voice survey statistics in the Veterinary View programme that we produced in partnership with ITN Productions.

Voice of the Veterinary Profession statistics appearing in PDSA PAW report 2018

In Autumn 2017 BVA and the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) agreed to use their Voice of the Profession surveys to ask members for their views on two key pet wellbeing topics: pre-purchase and pet obesity. We formulated these questions with the veterinary charity PDSA, and the findings have now been used to demonstrate the experiences of the veterinary profession in these areas in the 2018 PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) report (PDF 2.93 MB). The full report is available on the PDSA website.
