Nominations for outstanding researchers from around the world are being sought for the 2021 International Canine Health Awards.
Run by the Kennel Club Charitable Trust, the awards recognise and celebrate some of the world’s finest researchers, scientists and vets, as well as UK vet students and breed health coordinators whose work has a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of dogs.
The awards are supported by Vernon and Shirley Hill, founders of Metro Bank, who donate the substantial monetary prizes totalling £70,000.
The four awards are:
• International Prize in Canine Health – for outstanding contributions in the field of canine health and welfare.
• Lifetime Achievement Award – for a vet or scientist who has dedicated much of their career to advancing the health and welfare of dogs.
