The Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust has announced the appointment of its Nuffield Farming Scholars for 2021. The scholarships support the development of farming and agricultural industries by giving recipients the opportuntiy to broaden their horizons through study and travel overseas. Three livestock vets were among the recipients. They are:

Robert Howe, a clinical director and vet based in Churchtown, Lancashire. Passionate about regenerative agriculture, he sits on the food and farming board of VetSustain and has recently launched a discussion group to engage other vets and farmers on the subject. He believes that the veterinary profession can help to facilitate and encourage the agricultural industry to develop solutions to the threat of climate change.
