Vet corporates surge up the league table of mid-market private companies

Vetpartners has leapt 183 places up a league table that ranks Britain’s leading mid-market private companies.
The five-year-old company moved to 66th place in the annual Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 league table from its 2019 position of 249.
VetPartners is the highest ranked vet business in this year’s league table, after securing sales of £261.7 million and an operating profit of £35 million for the year ending June 2019.
Medivet has also made a substantial climb – from 226 in 2019 to 100th place in 2020.
VetPartners, which has its headquarters in York, has 140 veterinary practices and 5514 employees across the UK. In 2019, the group expanded into Europe with the addition of five veterinary practices in Italy and says it is anticipating further growth in both Italy and France in 2020.
