Event Description

Now in its fifth year, BVA Members’ Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the work of the profession, mix with fellow members and meet the current and incoming BVA Officer teams.

The day’s highlights include:

BVA Awards
The presentation of the BVA Awards, recognising the contribution members have made to the profession.

A keynote address
Professor Christopher Elliott will deliver this year's keynote address, which will look at One Health from a food safety perspective. He will also share his reflections on the independent review that he was commissioned by the UK government to lead, to provide learnings following the 2013 horsemeat scandal.

Members will be invited to witness the inauguration of the incoming BVA President and the rest of the BVA Officer team for the coming Association year.

Drinks reception
Members are invited to join us at the end of the day for a drinks reception and nibbles with the BVA Officer team.
