Vet Record is the official Journal of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and has been published weekly since 1888.

It is now published weekly in print and continuously online. The journal is highly regarded in the UK and internationally within the veterinary profession.

It contains news, comment, letters and clinical research papers on a wide range of veterinary topics. Its classified advertisement section includes an extensive list of veterinary and veterinary-based jobs.

BVA members

BVA members receive a print copy of Vet Record every week as well as online access to the latest content and the comprehensive research archive.

BVA grants editorial freedom to the Editor of Vet Record. The views expressed in the journal are those of the authors and may not necessarily comply with BVA policy. Vet Record is published by BMJ on behalf of BVA.
