The newly-updated BVA graduate guide is designed for students who are soon to graduate, to provide support and assistance when embarking on the next phase into professional life.

Chapter 1: Making decisions about your career

Congratulations, you’ve done so well to get to where you are now. The hard work and the long hours — you should be very proud of what you’ve achieved.

It’s now time to plan a career path that suits you, for now, and for your future. So, it’s important that you take the time to think about what you would like to do and how you can do it, or to plan your next step towards getting to where you want to be.

It doesn’t matter which stage you’re at, the sooner you start thinking about your career, the easier it will be to find the job you really want.

This chapter contains:

  • Working out what you want
  • Career options available to you
