Who can join

Membership of the Association is open to all members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), to those on the Supplementary Veterinary Register, to students studying for a degree entitling them to membership of the RCVS, to holders of EU veterinary qualifications and to those from other countries with RCVS-accepted qualifications.

Associate membership is also available to those with an interest in the profession, but who are not veterinary medicine graduates. For example, practice managers, lecturers or veterinary nurses. Associate members have access to all membership benefits except voting rights.
