Current Issues

The development of policies and strategies is the role of the Veterinary Policy Group (VPG) and this page includes links to our more substantial strategic papers and BVA policy documents.

You can also read the current editorial in our weekly journal The Veterinary Record

Members have access to the Parliamentary News Service provided to BVA as well as BVA responses to consultation documents and Policy Briefs on a number of issues including avian influenza and tail docking in dogs.

Policy statements are also available on various issues.
