The incidence of suicide in the veterinary profession is three to four times that of the general population and, for a variety of reasons, it can be very hard for those who work in the profession to access support. Vetlife helps families to survive financially when they run into unexpected difficulties, delivers professional advice and treatment to those suffering with mental health and addictive disorders and helps vets and VNs to get back to work if that is what they want.
