We have less than 12 months until the beginning of compulsory microchipping of dogs in England. Microchipping and the drafting of the regulations has been a regular entry in my meeting diary throughout my term as a BVA Officer.

This week we hosted a very successful BVA London Dinner, which affords us a platform to engage and discuss key issues. Once again this morning I have done the rounds of local radio stations who have picked up a veterinary story. This time Paul O Grady reports that he has spent £8000 on treatment for his dogs kidney cancer which has been a success but will require on going chemotherapy.

Passing of Lord Ballyedmond

Posted on March 14, 2014 by Robin Hargreaves

So sad to hear this morning of the tragic passing of Lord Ballyedmond. A great supporter of the veterinary profession and of BVA. Built opportunity for thousands of people in a troubled province and around the world.
