Voices for Canine Health

We want to hear from you.

​Help shape canine health screening for happier, healthier dogs. 

The Canine Health Schemes (CHS), delivered by the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and The Royal Kennel Club (RKC), are inviting veterinary professionals, dog breeders, and dog owners to take part in a series of focus groups to explore canine health screening. 

We want to better understand the needs, experiences and perspectives of people involved in dog health and breeding - whether you engage with CHS regularly, occasionally, or are simply aware of the schemes. 

Your feedback will help inform how CHS can continue to serve the canine health and breeding community and improve the long-term health and welfare of dogs. To take part, please complete the short form below.  

Focus groups will last 90 minutes, and will be hosted online by an external agency, held between 23 and 25 June 2026. Participants will be split into three groups: veterinary teams; breeders; dog owners / prospective owners.
