Our popular webinar series Building Great Workplaces, run in collaboration with VDS Training, returns this summer with four in-depth conversations tackling key themes, uncovered through Great Workplaces by BVA. Introduced in 2024, our accreditation scheme offers practical, tailored support to both clinical and non-clinical teams, championing positive workplace culture and supporting retention of existing staff and future recruitment.

Running from July to November, our lunchtime webinars will offer expert insight, practical advice, and handy tips to help vet teams to strengthen their workplace. The first session, Curious conversations: Navigating neurodiversity and reasonable adjustments, takes place on 16th July at 1pm and features guest speakers from The Vet Project.

British Veterinary Association President Rob Williams said: “There have been many conversations about how we build a resilient and sustainable veterinary workforce and a key step is ensuring every veterinary workplace is inclusive and welcoming to all. In our engaging first session, we’ll explore how curious conversations can help navigate some of the challenges and benefits our neurodivergent colleagues bring to veterinary workplaces. We hope vet teams find this webinar series thought-provoking and informative.”

Great workplaces by BVA has already been undertaken across multiple types of veterinary workplaces who have found our process and feedback invaluable, providing a positive impact on team culture and the business itself. Celebrating excellence, we spotlight workplaces that prioritise staff wellbeing and professional development, and where staff feel valued and empowered.
