Artificial Intelligence working group
The Artificial Intelligence working group has been convened by the BVA Policy Committee to develop a position on the use of artificial intelligence in the veterinary profession.

Meetings
The working group has met on the following dates: 23 May 2025 and 17 June 2025 with a final meeting scheduled for September.
The policy position is being drafted, and a list of consultees are being engaged to provide feedback. The document will seek to establish a set of general principles for vets to apply across the profession to use AI safely and effectively.
