Do you know a BVA member who would make an effective and enthusiastic President of the Association?
Applications for BVA Junior Vice President 2026/2027 are now open and will run until Monday 19 January 2026, with all veterinary surgeon members invited to put themselves forward. Junior Vice President will progress to President 2027/2028, subject to approval at the AGM.
This is a paid role which requires a significant time commitment over a three-year period.
Anyone wishing to apply, should read the role description and person specification before completing the application form.
All applications must be received by the BVA Policy and Governance Director, Amelia Findon, at [email protected] no later than Monday 19 January 2026. Please also get in touch if you wish to arrange an informal conversation with an existing BVA Officer prior to submitting your nomination.
The Electoral College will meet in March to confidentially review all applications received, before inviting shortlisted candidates for interview. Electoral College will make their recommendation to BVA Council in April 2026.
